Backing Pads For DA Sanders

Most dual action (DA) sanders require backing pads which have 5/16" UNF male threaded fixings. We thus stock these in the two popular sizes for 125mm and 150mm. There is also a 150mm backing pad with an adaptor supplied to give an M8 fixing to suit Festool sanders. A 125mm 'cyclone' type backing pad fits the 3 hole Makita and Festool 125mm sanders The backing pads have dust hole patterns, but are suitable for plain discs as well. They surface is a 'Velcro' style loop base for fixing grip (hook) backed sanding discs.Specification: Fitted with male 5/16" UNF adaptor to fit most DA sanders and adaptors where shown. Dust extraction holes in standard pattern, (except cyclone pad with 44 holes). Suitable for grip sanding discs with or without holes.
