New MEBA 3D, 3D sawing giving fast and excellent finish results with low operating costs

07-10-2019

The MEBA 3D metal bandsaw machine is equipped with a special clamping device for mounting plates and can solve cutting 3D printed workpieces exactly on the customer’s own mounting plate. The 3-D parts are printed on a plate. The customer fixes this plate on the MEBA device, which can be moved freely via linear guides and thus precisely aligned. Once the plate is adjusted, the sawing process begins. MEBA 3D bandsaw removes the 3D printed workpieces quickly and precisely from the plate. These saw cuts the workpieces off the plates they drop and can be removed, and then if necessary further refined. After the end of the sawing process, the device plate is disassembled and can be used with little rework for further prints. With little effort and a quick saw cut, the customer has gently removed the 3D parts from his plate. Compared to conventional production processes, such as wire EDM, the MEBA 3D sawing concept is extremely straightforward with just a few steps: simply clamp and saw. The acquisition and maintenance costs are significantly lower. The long service life of the saw blade keeps the cost low. The MEBA3D saw can also be used for standard sawing work with a low conversion effort therefore can be utilized in the customers general production cutting.
