Since 1959 Archibald Young Ltd Founders and Engineers have been noted for producing high quality castings in both copper-based and aluminium alloys. In 1986, due to investing in electric melting facilities, our product range was extended in order to include iron alloys.

Throughout the years we have maintained our reputation for reliability with retaining traditional foundry skills used to produce a large range of different castings which range from 0.1kg to 1 tonne in weight, for customers within the marine, civil and general engineering; pump and valve manufacturing; shipbuilding and mining; tooling lighting and architectural industries.

Variety and flexibility are our areas of expertise. Whether it is a one-off or batch production our service is second to none and pattern-making and machining facilities are available in-house in order to provide the complete foundry package, all of which is accredited to ISO 9001.
