The order to fit out the new facility extended to five 30,000 litre TEBU tanks configured to three single compartment units and two flexible duel compartments in a 50/50 arrangement. The project is an internal specialist oil storage and distribution facility, with Blakes also manufacturing, supplying and installing all the necessary platform frames, gantry and access kit. These structural and secondary engineering elements for the depot were manufactured to EN1090-1 specification as with all of Blake’s fabricated steelwork as a CE Accredited supplier. Certas Energy Livingston Andrew Salton, Lubricants manager at CERTAS commented: “Certas Energy are the largest distributor of lubricants in the U.K. and are partners for brands like Castrol, Total, Valvoline and Shell along with Adblue, rust preventatives and coolants and auxiliary products.
