Gannet Gateway Unveiled

The new feature entrance arch for the Scottish Seabird Centre in North Berwick was officially unveiled last month following a naming competition run by The East Lothian Courier. The ‘Gannet Gateway’ was designed by renowned sculptor Diane Maclean who also created the gannet models. The the archway was produced and installed by Blake’s Fabrication tradesmen. Gannet Gateway at North Berwick Diane stated “It was great to work with Blake’s on the Gannet Archway. They advised on the best material to use for the arch to withstand the very high winds on the coast and their workmanship was superb in shaping and polishing it. They also installed the work without a hitch. They were a friendly and efficient team to work with”. Please visit the Seabird Centre website to find out more .
