Metal Centre support a steading

12-08-2015

Published July 2015 The Metal Centre has supplied supporting steelwork to Robert Reid Joinery and Building for a residential conversion of Goodtree Steading, Balerno, Edinburgh. Robert Reid is a 20 year established local firm specialising in residential extensions and refurbishments with an excellent reputation for quality and craftsmanship. The development, which is due to be completed in April 2016 will create five apartments within the expanded steading building with stunning uninterrupted views across the Pentland Hills to the south. The project is notable for the extensive reuse of original and recycled stonework and also because it will be powered by an onsite biomass generator fuelled by wood from the estate that the steading is set within. Robert Reid commented:- “It has been a pleasure working with the Metal Centre again. They always provide good service from initial enquiry to supply on site. Delivery is always on time with a quick turnaround and I would happily recommend their service to any potential customers ” For more information about Robert Reid please visit www.robertreidjoinerbuilder.com
