Reelstand Product: Series 200 Torque Limiter Application: Reelstands for rolls of paper, films, foils & laminates Function: This high-speed film wind-up machine is used for winding all types of film, paper and laminates. The main reel drive can be subjected to increased tension in the paper or film. This can cause damage to the drive system as well as wasting material. Drive Specification: Electric motor and reduction gearbox. Torque Limiters: Model 202 size 4 fitted on the output shaft of the gearbox. In this position the Autogard Torque Limiter is very sensitive and trips out instantly when an overload occurs. Benefits: Down time has been greatly reduced, as damage to the machine due to overloads has been eliminated. There is now almost no wastage of material. Costs of maintenance and spare parts have also been greatly reduced.
