Coventya is a privately owned company with its headquarters in Paris supplying chemicals into the surface finishing industry. Having been established in 2000 it has grown to now be eight times the size, this has been achieved by organic growth and acquisitions.

The UK was one of these acquisitions, made in 2012 to both gain electrophoretic lacquers as a product offering and also to have a direct representation into the UK to support its business in the automotive and aerospace industries. These account for over 50% of the company’s business and nearly 225 specifications where Coventya technology is named.

Coventya are the 3rd largest company in the world in this market, with companies and distributors which cover all continents; this global coverage has allowed several specifications for the automotive industry to be written around Coventya technology, as these OEM’s know that they can be supplied and supported wherever in the world they are established.

Coventya UK, recently increased its warehouse to allow >250 tonnes of chemicals to be stored and also installed a pilot line to allow the plating of parts for customer trials, with particular emphasis on zinc nickel alloys and area where Coventya are the world leaders.
