High-quality materials are used for manufacturing pulleys. Aluminum is chosen for 3M and larger 5M pulleys to reduce weight and inertia. All other pulleys are machined from medium carbon steel bar or 260 Grade cast iron and coated with zinc phosphate to prevent corrosion. Standard pulleys come in a wide range of tooth sizes and widths to fit all standard HTD belts.
