Introducing Dixon Bayco's Flotech FT555 tester @ FPS14

Dixon will be exhibiting at the 2014 FPS show to promote their FloTech branded overfill prevention system and Bayco petroleum products. New for this year’s show Dixon will also be showing their new truck overfill prevention system tester, FT555. This new tester can test both 2 and 5 wire overfill systems and with an audible alarm output, it allows for single operator wet test operation. FloTech equipment is compatible with the installed base of gantry mounted rack monitors found throughout the UK and Ireland. The range has ATEX approvals and is accepted by the UK Safe Loading Pass Scheme. The stand will also feature the fully developed FloTech overfill prevention Plug & Play wiring system that has been developed to significantly reduce the installation time of the tanker mounted probes and sockets. The FloTech Plug & Play system provides a pre-made wiring harness that simply connects to each of the probes and sockets by way of suitable environmentally protected connectors. With this system, there is no need to strip wires and make crimp connections. This will not only provide a faster installation but, as all the connections are pre made, will also eliminate connection errors by the installer. The stand will also feature Dixon Bayco's 5300 Loading Arm Coupler. The unit is completely modular so the coupler can be built with various face seal combinations to be compatible with alternative fuel / performance levels and applications. Two models are available: bonded nose seal and replaceable nose seal. The 5300 Coupler has a maximum working pressure of 150 PSI, a peak surge pressure of 350 PSI and an operating temperature: -28°C to 204°C (Viton-B® seals) Features include a 4" TTMA inlet mounting flange, 5 cam design for easy alignment/tight connection and a ball-end handle for easy, comfortable operation. No special tools are needed for maintenance and shaft seals can be changed without removing coupler from the loading arm.
