Manganese Phosphate

Manganese Phosphate forms a heavy crystalline coating on steel surfaces. The manganese phosphate coating will absorb oil and other lubricants and is used almost exclusively on moving and wearing steel surfaces. Its action is either as a solid lubricant until the two wearing surfaces can form matched mating surfaces or as a porous base for liquid lubricants.
