Biological Filter Media From FLI Water Limited

Our range of Biological Filter media can be used for Carbonaceous, Nitrification, Denitrications and Solids removal. They have been specifically developed for municipal wastewater treatment applications, however they can be utilised in industrial applications such as Leachate Treatment, Industrial Effluents, and Industrial wastewater treatment applications. The structure of the media is designed to house the natural bacteria that is involved in the nitrogen cycle. The media provides a larger surface area for bacteria to colonize, allowing water to pass over the colonies therefore providing the nutrients and oxygen that are required to sustain the the nitrogen cycle. Once the bacteria have become established in the biological media, they are difficult to destroy.
