Flintec USA is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Andrew E. Smith as the new Managing Director. Andrew takes over from Jeff Robidoux, who is transitioning to a sales management role as he begins semi-retirement.

Jeff has dedicated 23 years to Flintec, joining the sales team in 2000 and later rising to Managing Director. His decision to semi-retire marks a new chapter in his career, allowing Flintec to continue benefiting from his extensive knowledge and experience.

Andrew joins Flintec USA from Winchester Interconnect, where he led the Dynawave RF & Microwave division as General Manager, driving technical sales and manufacturing excellence. Before becoming GM, Andrew was Operations Manager at Winchester’s Peabody, MA RF & Microwave site, where his leadership resulted in impressive growth: a 33% increase in sales and a notable 48% rise in profitability. His expertise in optimising operations and delivering results was instrumental in this success.

With a strong background in senior leadership across complex manufacturing businesses, Andrew has been appointed Managing Director for his wealth of experience and technical expertise. "I am truly excited to be joining the Flintec family and to provide technical solutions to some of the industry’s most challenging opportunities," he shared.
