Calibration of load cells

All low capacity load cells, from 1kg to 250kg are calibrated using traceable deadweights. Higher capacity load cells are calibrated in hydraulic loading systems, against Calibration Reference Load Cells, traceable to National Standards through a UKAS Accredited Laboratory.

Each product is proof tested to 150% rated capacity and calibration data is recorded following three full loading cycles from zero to full scale.

Every load cell is supplied with a Certificate of Calibration and Conformity, quoting the necessary measured data for installation and system calibration. The data contained includes : Full Scale Output, Zero Output, Input / Output Bridge Resistance Values, Insulation Resistance, Electrical Connections,

5-point Calibration Data and Combined Error Data.
