PTFE Seals

PTFE seals are commonly used in hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders. In comparison to more traditional elastomer solutions, PTFE seals can provide some additional unique characteristics. Low friction at high pressures is the more important of these however low stick slip, high abrasion resistance and extreme chemical compatibility are all factors which present PTFE seals an important option when designing efficient and reliable sealing systems.
