GGB Bearing Assemblies Featured in Konstruktionpraxis August 4, 2016Back Self-aligning bearing assemblies from GGB Bearing Technology are featured in the July 2016 issue of Konstruktionpraxis, a leading German design engineering publication. The company’s ExalignTM , MINI and UNI bearing assemblies offset misalignment by up to ±5o to reduce edge loading and premarture wear. Available in various configurations with different housings, they can be combined with GGB bearing materials to provide optimal design solutions for numerous applications. Made of cast iron, ExalignTM housings are designed for bearings with IDs of 10mm to 100 mm. MINI housings are made of aluminum alloy with steel balls for use with bearings with IDs of 8 mm to 15 mm. UNI housings are made of cast iron with steel balls for bearings with Ids from 8 mm to 100 mm. Typical applications include wind turbines, car washes, cleaning equipment, rotating drum systems, handling systems, conveyors, presses, HVAC systems, hoists, cranes, textile machinery, backery machines and marine equipment.
