After extensive technical discussions with the company’s design engineers, GGB recommended its GGB-CSM® ferrous-nickel-copper alloy bearings to withstand the extreme temperatures of the application. GGB-CSM plain bearings in steel applications The bearings were formulated using advanced materials and production techniques to provide maintenance-free performance and superior mechanical characteristics. GGB also developed a special high-temperature grease for use in the application. GGB’s involvement in the project extended to on-site technical support of the assembly process and training the company’s installers.
