Hepco History
- HepcoMotion owes its origins to the late Leslie Forster, who was a very talented inventor and designer of Packaging machines and owner of the now defunct Forsters Machine Company. Established in the late 1940s, Forsters Machine Company produced an impressive range of wrapping machines catering for the most complex products to wrap such as fragile glass bottles, table jellies and soft sticky cakes. - In 1950 Leslie Forster came up with the idea of a uniquely simple slide solution based on a V principle. Which consisted of a hardened and ground steel plate with Vee'd edges captivated between pairs of correspondingly Vee'd ball bearings, the variation in peripheral speed across the contact surfaces, caused debris to be expelled from the system. Not only was the slide system able to withstand the arduous operating surroundings but it was also virtually frictionless and very easy to install.Visit the HepcoMotion website for more information on Hepco History
