CA Backflow Preventer

The CA 2096 backflow preventer is a device with two checkvalves separated with a zone connected to the atmosphere. Under normal conditions the central chamber is closed to atmosphere. In the event of upstream pressure drop or downstream backflow the check valves re-seat normally and the central chamber is kept isolated from atmosphere of, however the downstream check valve failes under either of these conditions the central chamber will open to atmosphere separating the upstream and downstream lines. Thus protecting the supply from backflow.
