Mid Span Bridge IP Unit

Our mid span bridge delivers both power and data down a single cat5 or cat6 cable to the access control entry/exit device. It is an IP unit so it can sit anywhere on the IT network. It has a fire alarm input for use with fail safe systems . Sometimes referred to as a “juice box” this unit can power 2 readers and a double mag lock over a maximum distance of 300 metres using a single lock manager. With the dual lock manager it can do 4 readers and 2 double mag locks over a distance of 300 metres. The Unit can be configured for interlocks (mainly used in custody suites) so you could have an 8 door interlock with single lock managers or a 16 door interlock with dual lock managers.
