SMS (Security Management System)

An SMS (Security Management System is a 3rd party software GUI that brings various disciplines like Fire, Intruder, Access control, CCTV, Cell call and Intercoms etc all back to a central control desk. The system enhances security by linking all the differing systems together. Security management systems can perform cause and effect events like: When Panic alarm is activated, emergency open all access control doors leading to source of alarm. Trace an individual so that at particular doors a recorded event on the CCTV is stored for every card presentation From the SMS graphic screen, users can perform certain operational functions: Remote open a door for a particular time or permanently. Remote lock down a door so as not to allow anybody entry or egress. See who was last person to badge at the door. Remote power reset a door. View power usage at a door. Monitor door status (Tamper, Door unsecure, Holding force of mag lock).
