Aluminium Shim Washers

Shim washers are commonly used as a buffer or space filler in between two components, in order to lower the manufacturing costs (as manufacturing two perfect-fit components is expensive as well as time consuming) or to lower maintenance and repair costs (as replacing shims is a lot cheaper than repairing worn components).
