BISON Style - the cost-saving garment rail

When it comes to forward-thinking developments in the transport of textiles, you can depend on TITGEMEYER Group, the cargo control specialists. The main innovative feature of BISON Style, the Group's new garment rail, with respect to its predecessor garment rails, the BISON Revision, BISON Robust and BISON Universal, is its significantly lighter weight: some 25 per cent lighter, the rail also boasts improved strength. With this revolutionary new design, the developers have succeeded in bringing the weight of each garment rail down to less than 4.5 kilos. The Europe-wide patented innovation, which comes from TS - Gesellschaft für Transport- und Sicherungssysteme, a TITGEMEYER subsidiary, was first presented at the IAA and met with widespread interest. Depending on the length of the trailer, the carrier of textile goods can save up to 200 kilos in weight. This is beneficial not only in terms of easier handling of rails, but also brings considerable fuel savings. The surface of each garment rail is finished using a special chrome-plating process that guarantees zero friction wear and protects against corrosion. It is also free of chrome VI in conformity with the corresponding European/VDA directives. The garment rail likewise is in compliance with the terms and conditions of the customs criminological office and can be inspected by customs officials without being removed, making it completely customs-proof.
