WA Thermal arc spraying cored wires

In Thermal Spraying (TS) ceramics, metals or plastics are projected in either their molten or semi molten state on a prepared substrate in order to enhance its properties. TS uses the thermal energy supplied by combustion/ detonation of gases/ an electric arc. In some processes a further carrier or protective gas is added in order to add increased kinetic energy or the protection against oxidation.
