X155CrVMo12-1 A DIN tool steel giving a good hardness with added toughness. This grade can be vacuum hardened when minimum distortion is required. X210Cr12 A DIN tool steel which has a high carbon, high chromium content and attains a high hardness with good abrasion resistance. X210CrW12 This grade achieves a high hardness with good abrasion resistance. X100CrMoV5-1 An air hardening tool steel. It characteristics are its high abrasion resistance with good toughness. X40CrMoV5-1 This is a hot work tool steel specification. It is air hardening with very little distortion. 60WCrV7 A shock resisting DIN specification tool steel, with good abrasion resistance. When hardened it offers a good cutting ability with great toughness 40CrMnMo7 This is is a pre-hardened high tensile steel which is readily machineable. 40CrMnMoS86 is a similar grade with a higher sulphur content X45NiCrMo4 A 4 1/4% nickel steel, which achieves a good through hardness. This DIN grade is capable of taking a good polish and is commonly used as a plastic mould steel. S6-5-2 A high speed steel, which offers good wear resistance with superior toughness and machineability. X42Cr13 A 13% chromium stainless mould steel which will achieve a good hardness and gives a good polish.
