EN Steel Grades

EN Steel Grades suppliers to the whole of the UK. EN range of steel specifications was first introduced in 1941 as the War Emergency numbers; British Standard Schedule BS970 the British Standards Institute published 58 specifications (EN1 to EN58). These covered a variety of steel grades including carbon, alloy and stainless steel grades. These were arranged according to the chemical composition with low carbon grades working up to stainless steel grades. 1955 and the BS970 EN range of steel specifications was revised to add further steel grades.
