Oxygen Laser Cutting
This is used on mild steels, it’s an assist gas which burns at a high temperature providing an economical cut. The downside to using this gas is that it instantly leaves an oxidised cut edge which can affect the part if it is going to be powder coated. If the part is going to be painted we recommend that the edges are cleaned, especially on thicker mild steels. Storing liquid oxygen on site, thus avoiding the large rental costs and delivery charges associated with compressed gas banks, allows us to keep our pricing competitive.Visit the Yorkshire Profiles Ltd website for more information on Oxygen Laser Cutting
