Gravity Die Casting

The gravity die casting process can enable much larger castings (up to approx. 15kgs.) and can provide much thicker sections. Fantastic casting integrity is able to be achieved and heat treatment, stabalisation and/or impregnation are able to further enhance both mechanical and other properties. Gravity die casting productsGravity die-casting is often associated with lower volumes than that of pressure die-casting and is able to provide much reduced initial tooling costs. Tolerances and coring out details are not as good as pressure casting but good design principles are able to achieve extremely intricate castings.
