United Way Announces 2013 Campaign Participant Awards

12/11/2013 The United Way held their fall celebration of their 2013 campaign earlier today, announcing that they were on track to achieve their overall fundraising objective. ACS was recognized in many ways for contributions to the campaign, by receiving the following awards: Community Chest Award: presented to organizations that have the largest percent increase in employee giving Red Feather Award: presented to organizations with the largest dollar increase in employee giving Community Growth Award: presented to organizations that have the largest percent increase in new donors Silver Award: presented to organizations with employee gifts averaging between $100 - $149 or more per employee Best Practices Award: presented to organizations that execute all of the Best Practices strategies and have an overall increase in giving Award of Distinction: presented to organizations with campaigns of at least $500 last year that increased 25% this year
