Celebrating our 90th Anniversary ...and still going strong!

Starting out in Birmingham 90 years ago, JL Float now operates from 36,000 sqft of factory in Aldridge, where it relocated to in 1967, now employing over 52 people. The workforce includes some employees who have been with J L Float for almost 40 years, as well as a number of apprentices to ensure fresh talent is nurtured within the company. Managing Director Malcolm Hallewell commented: "the company has been investing in its equipment in recent years and will be looking to make further investments moving forwards." Investments have included improving power presses to offer 30 - 500 Tonnes and also improving the robotic welding cells in the factory. J L Float are now looking forward to going from strength to strength over the next 90 years!
