Health and Safety Award

Dave Wilson, the factory manager, at Leeds Bronze Engineering has received an award from the Company’s health and safety advisor, Courtley’s (H&S) Ltd, in recognition of his individual efforts to improve health and safety in the workplace. The award is made to individuals who contributed most amongst their 150 active clients. Their commendation was…. “I am pleased to announce you are one of the winners of our Individual Health & Safety Recognition Award 2014!! The Team at Courtley (Health & Safety) Ltd would like to congratulate you and let you know that your efforts to improve health & safety standards for your company are recognised and greatly appreciated. It is an honour to work with individuals such as you who share the same visions and attitude towards health and safety.” The anecdote to this good news story is that on the day of the presentation by Courtley’s their representative did not turn up at the appointed time. It turns out that he was in fact unable to make the trip as he had fallen off a ladder the previous day.
