Meltech shows we’re “Made in Britain”

Meltech is delighted to announce that the company is one of six shortlisted in the “Made in Britain” category of the Real Business Growing Business Awards – Britain’s most established and respected national recognition of SME entrepreneurial success. The awards have previously identified some now-household names, including Zoopla, EasyJet and Innocent. A focussed specialist engineering business, Meltech delivers high performance production and handling equipment and support services to different segments of the worldwide wire, cable and metals processing markets. Our long-standing process expertise and innovative technical skills enable Meltech to deliver performance-enhancing investments to a growing base of major worldwide customers. During 2014 Meltech’s ability to innovate was recognised by the UK’s Technology Strategy Board, grant funding from whom was instrumental in the recent launch of its ground-breaking Ex300 non-ferrous metal continuous extrusion system. “Meltech has always been proud of its credentials as a great British engineering company” says Chairman Marcus Moir. “As a long-standing North West manufacturing business we are delighted that our support for and partnerships with local and regional University departments, sources of engineering talent and key suppliers has been recognised. Final judging takes place on Thursday 9th October, with the winner announced on Tuesday 25th November.
