Ness Engineering was founded in 1985 by Ronald Leslie and John Walters to serve Sunburgh airports electrical and mechanical needs.

Since that day Ness has grown in popularity. We now work for a range of valuable clients throughout Shetland and elsewhere. We on occasion take on projects in the north of Scotland, the Western Isles and Orkney.

Our work has grown far beyond the provision of airfield services, though that is of course still one of our core businesses. We undertake all kinds of electrical and mechanical installation and maintenance and we can tackle any building project. We also specialise in waste management and are active in the growing renewables industry.
