Corona Virus Communication

Following the information and advice from the UK Government, Newmont wanted to write to you and formally let you know that we are continuing to provide sub-contract services as fully as possible. This is whilst ensuring the full safety and of our employees and visitors to Newmont. We have been nominated by two of our existing customers as an essential supplier in providing equipment and components that go into medical apparatus that will be used globally in hospitals and other medical facilities, in the fight against Covid-19. Newmont is proud to be supporting our customers and the front-line staff in this effort to combat this virus. Our employee’s safety is of utmost importance, and we have put in place several measures in line with government guidelines, which includes social distancing, which are being strictly enforced. Hygiene practices have been developed and communicated along with suitable PPE to protect our workers in their duties. All employees are updated frequently on changes or updates as they arise. Newmont will continue to operate as normal as possible under these circumstances and will keep in regular contact with its customers and suppliers as necessary. We are all facing these unprecedented times, and difficulties in the coming months as there is uncertainty in what the effects of Covid-19 will do have on business going forward. As this situation continues to develop, Newmont will review its policies and practices in line with government guidelines and recommendations or as particular circumstances dictate. I would respectfully ask all visitors to Newmont to respect social distancing and come prepared with suitable PPE. Every effort will be made to assist drivers where needed.
