Company Expansion

January 2015 After successfully securing a long term contract, we are expanding the premesis of Shepherd Engineering Ltd to house 5 extra machines. These will consist of 2 CNC Lathes, 2 CNC Mills and 1 Sliding Head. Due to this expansion we are pleased to be able to offer further vacancies to expand our current workforce to enable the company to continue running efficiently and effectively. We are excited to announce that the new building has already been sought for this expansion and will therefore belong to Shepherd Engineering Ltd within this next month. The expansion will not happen overnight, and is going to be an ongoing project for the near future, but the employment of more staff as soon as possible will help ease the pressure of the workshop while the expansion is taking place. We are also pleased to inform you that the Inspection department is being expanded to help ease the pressure of increasing workload. A new Co-ordinate Measuring Arm will be added to their equipment and an opportunity for a Trainee Inspector has been advertised on our Vacancies page.
