So 2014 is more than upon us now and it is time again for us to highlight a couple of materials in the large range of stocks we offer. Firstly we have a material becoming far more popular this year as LED lighting continuesto dominate the requirements of new buildings and existing unit refits. The Altuglas® LEDsystem: a special range of diffusing sheet for use with LEDs in 10 “energizing” colours. 2014-01-01.jpg In tune with the environment Made of sheet from the Altuglas® LED System range, your signboard will be environment-friendly and offer an undeniable cost advantage: fewer LEDs, less energy, very low voltage, a safe system with little maintenance and long life. Altuglas® LED System ensures perfectly even lighting: the diodes no longer appear as spots of light. With Altuglas® LED System, they remain invisible and the uniformity of lighting is unequalled. Designed for indoor and outdoor applications, Altuglas® LED System cast acrylic sheet range is available in 10 colours. Performances High Visibility sign & signage with low energy expenditure (up to 20% less LEDs compared to a classic PMMA sheet). Maximum brightness Uniformity of lighting- no hot spots Harmony of colours: 10 Standard Easy to form Please contact us for information or samples of Altuglas® LED sheets. Secondly we would like to highlight another material but this time in our range of high temperature insulation boards. When you need a thermal insulation option - Morgan Thermal Ceramics’ Superwool® Fibre products have been developed to show improved high temperature characteristics required to act as an alternative to RCF. 2014-01-02.jpg Morgan Thermal Ceramics patented Superwool® Fibre technology goes into boards which are rigid panels made from a mixture of Superwool® 607® and 607® HT Fibres, refractory fillers and organic and inorganic binders. Superwool® Fibre boards can CNC machined allowing precise shapes to be made and can be used in direct contact with flame. The boards feature very low thermal conductivity, have a low heat storage capacity and have good thermal shock resistance allowing them to be used in applications where large variations in temperature occur. Superwool® based boards also do not react with Alumina based bricks when applied in the range of the typical use temperature. Please contact us for more information on the applications of this high performance insulation. To discuss your requirements please contact us on 01274 636333 or sales@presspahn.com. Kind regards Matthew Pinder.
