03-04-2016
REID Lifting are extremely proud to announce that they have been named the 2015 Company of the Year at the prestigious Monmouthshire Business Awards.
Now in it’s fourth year and often regarded as the Oscars of the Welsh business community, the Monmouthshire Business Awards are the county’s only award scheme to recognise and celebrate local business excellence. Supported by Monmouthshire County Council and Business Wales, the aim of the awards are to showcase cross-industry excellence and to provide local businesses with a prestigious platform on which to shine.
Not only were REID Lifting awarded with Company of the Year for the second time, but they were also awarded the highly regarded Judges Choice Award. The winner of the Judges Choice Award was determined by celebrity judges Andy Harrington and David Jamily, who deemed REID Lifting to be the best entrant overall from all 11 award categories.
REID Lifting were also honoured to be asked to sponsor and present the award for Innovation in Business. With innovation at the core of the REID Lifting ethos, it was a privilege to honour other businesses who are also showing how innovation is pushing their business forward. This year’s Innovation in Business Award, as presented by REID Lifting’s MD, Nick Battersby, went to Siltbusters, the UK’s leading authority on water treatment, wet waste and the prevention of waterborne pollution from construction sites.
The award ceremony took place at the Celtic Manor Resort with almost 400 guests, including Edwina Hart, Minister for Economy, Science & Transport, Welsh Government, Monmouth MP David Davies, Nick Ramsay AM, High Sheriff of Gwent Andrew Tuggey, Bob Greenland, deputy leader at Monmouthshire County Council, Paul Matthews, chief executive of MCC, Peter Fox, leader at MCC, and Dylan Matthews, of the Celtic Manor Resort.
