Robinsons was founded in 1963 when John Illingworth, the Chairman of Robinsons Petroleum Distributors, formed Robinsons Heating in order to cater to the demands of home heating. Very few engineers were originally employed in order to service the oil boilers of the customers who purchased oil from the company.

Our long serving members of the services teams supply stability and reliability, and our apprentices are trained to the highest possible standard, always winning awards from their colleges for dedication to their training. These young men work close with our experienced engineers to gain invaluable knowledge and skills.
