Wolverhampton based Rolevet Ltd, experts in specialised fasteners and solutions, are celebrating their 25th anniversary with a substantial investment plan. The 100k investment will be implemented over the next 12 months, aiding the company to further improve and expand its business. Having appointed Interim Operations Director Steve Hemming earlier this year, the Midlands company is currently undergoing a number of organisational and structural changes, including a more efficient manufacturing set-up, the introduction of new ERP and CRM software as well as IT infrastructure together with an increase in marketing activities. Offering on-site hot forging and a general machining and CNC workshop, Rolevet Ltd is not only able to manufacture bespoke precision parts to individual customer specifications, but can also work from customer drawings and reverse engineer from supplied samples for any industry or application. Plus, with seven forging presses and an extensive range of fully traceable materials in various grades constantly being stocked, the company has established a reputation for its quick processing times, meeting delivery schedules andachieving customer requirements. According to Mr Hemming, “The biggest challenge we are facing these days is remaining competitive. The number of suppliers competing in a global marketplace is growing and customers’ demands are becoming increasingly more stringent in terms of certification, traceability and quality standards in general. We therefore have to ensure that our equipment, service and work processes are always as good and efficient as possible. ” With several quality, safety and environmental standards such as BS EN ISO 9001:2008, BS OHSAS 18001:2007 and BS EN ISO 14001:2004 already in place, the company is committed to maintaining and building on the high quality of its products and the service it provides. Originally founded in 1988 as a provider of forged blanks to two local companies, Rolevet Ltd now operates independently, offering the complete manufacture of specialist industrial fasteners and bespoke solutions.
