About Us
SARAC Engineering was established in 1974 as a sub-contract precision machine shop. In 1987 CNC machinery was introduced, and ISO 9002 accreditation was obtained in 1997 which was updated to ISO9001:2000 in 2004. More recently BobCad CAD/CAM has been installed enabling direct conversion of emailed drawings to machine programs if required.
During this time we have gained experience in machining a wide variety of materials, including steel, aluminium, brass, tungsten, and plastics, in any quantity from one off to thousands off, and have earned a reputation for quality and customer service at a competitive price. We can also help with preparing designs for production.
