About Us

Starting out in 1987, Scimar Engineering Ltd is a small, United Kingdom R&D based company.

We were initially focused on instrumentation in the Marine and Scientific markets, creating electronic packages for industrial, oil and university customers, including geophysics, sonar and oceanographic measurement systems.

Over the years, whilst keeping active in the marine markets, we have grown into industrial electronics, serial data isolators, computer peripherals, and DC-DC power converters and we are now very active in products for the Green Energy Market.
