LOLER Regulations
The LOLER regulations were introduced in 1998 to guarantee the universal safety of use of all lifting equipment. With growing pressure on health and safety, LOLER is a minimum requirement for all lifting equipment both commercially and privately. The LOLER certificate consists of a list of checks carried out by a competent engineer to examine the well-being of the equipment. In addition to this, to comply with the LOLER regulations you are required to have your vehicle maintained to the manufactures minimum recommendation usually consisting of servicing and inspection every 6 months and a weight test carried out annually.Visit the Tail Lift Engineering website for more information on LOLER Regulations
