CUI Pipeline Scanner The TesTex CUI system is some of our newest technology, that can rapidly screen for corrosion under insulation without having to remove any insulation. Once area's of interest are detected, only those sections of insulation can be removed and investigated with ultrasonic and visual inspection. The video above shows an early version of the technology being used for detecting welds through insulation, however now the technology has progressed to pick up CUI as well. The software and scanner have also gone through multiple revisions, showing much more information. Data is rapidly collected over a stretch of pipeline and then analysed at a later date.
