Eddy Current Inspection

Eddy Current Inspection Eddy current testing (ECT) is used extensively within TesTex powering many of our technologies. We used ECT for the following types of inspection: Eddy Current Weld Inspection Eddy Current Tube Inspection from the I.D Low Frequency Electromagnetic Technique (LFET) Pipe Scanning Low Frequency Electromagnetic Technique (LFET) Tank Floor Scanning Corrosion Under Insulation Scanning through Insulation Eddy Current Technology uses electromagnetic fields to induce eddy currents within the test piece. Different methods exist for different types of technologies, but the general premise is to measure the changes in the eddy currents to detect defects in the material.
