NEW SUPER SPEED MILL INSTALLED

The second major addition to our CNC Milling section in 2015 is a super speed mill - the HAAS VF4SS Haas's VF-4SS is based on the shop-proven Haas VF-4 platform 1,270 x 508 x 635mm xyz travels, the Super VF-4 comes standard with an innovative 12,000-rpm inline direct-drive spindle, an ultra-fast tool changer and 35m/min rapids. The machines are equipped with a 12,000-rpm, 40-taper spindle that features a unique inline, direct-drive system that couples the drive directly to the spindle rather than using belts. This results in smoother transmission of power, less heat and less noise than other drive systems, providing better surface finishes, extreme thermal stability and very quiet operation.
