15 Employees Complete Fork Lift Truck Training

28-11-2015

Over the last 3 months we have been increasing the skill levels of our staff by putting each member of our team through an Improving Operational Performance Apprenticeship, this course gave each individual the skills required to safely drive a fork lift truck around the factory. To help carry out this training we engaged ATL to support the development of our workforce. Along with gaining the practical skill set required, ATL put each employee through an NVQ Level 2 Certificate in Plant Operations, and Conforming to General Safety in the Workplace. At Adelaide, we are always keen to extend the skill base of our employees, The programme was delivered over a length of time that enabled us to manage the on the job assessment and off the job training including testing in a way that gave our employees the opportunity to Improve Their Skill Knowledge and Competence whilst not impacting too much on production. The programme has widened our skill base and their job role coverage which can only improve efficiency. We would also like to say a hearty CONGRATULATIONS to Paul Longworth, who has just successfully completed his apprenticeship training. We see a bright future with Paul at Adelaide Engineering!
