Adelaide Engineering had an enquiry to machine some Precision Parts, the Precision Parts needed to be machined on all faces over to very fine tolerances. Adelaide Engineering were asked to quote a 10 off Precision Parts on a short lead-time . The Precision Parts needed to be delivered on a tight delivery schedule.
Our Approach to machining Precision Parts
Adelaide received the raw material. The Precision Parts need to be marked out for best fit and proof machined on all faces. Adelaide then set the Precision Parts on a FTP CNC bedmill and machined a shadow of the finish Precision Part, the rough outline was calculated and proofed through our Declam Promill , the program and strategy was set and the precision machining was started with small step overs with a 25 mm ball end cutter, the thread form on both end was carried out our DSG CNC lathe. We completed within a 10 week period and the finished parts were inspected with our Faro arm.
Adelaide Engineering deliver the Precision Parts to the customer, with zero concessions. We will continue to delivery high quality to a valued customer.

Machined Fabrications offers large subcontract fabrications, large subcontract machining parts up to 10 tonnes . The 18,000 sq/ft fabrication bay can CNC profile , fabricate and weld to BS EN 1090-1 2009. We also stress relieve and spray paint on site. The 25,000 sq/ft machining bay holds 12 large milling and horizontal boring machines.
