Large Component Machining Adelaide Engineering had an enquiry for large component machining, the large part needed to be machined on all faces over to very fine tolerances. Adelaide Engineering were asked to quote a 1 off large part on a short lead-time . The large parts needed to be delivered on a tight delivery schedule. Our Approach to large component machining Adelaide received the raw casting. The large fabrication need to be marked out for best fit and proof machined on all faces. Adelaide then set the large component on a Union K130 CNC Horizontal Borer, we machined all over and drilled all holes, the removable caps were then fitted and the line bore machined as a final operation. We completed within a 10 week period and the finished parts were inspected with our Faro arm. Adelaide Engineering deliver the large component machining to the customer, with zero concessions.
