CROSSFLON® 213 LUBRICANT SETS NEW STANDARDS

01-09-2015

A leading engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) company has recently used our Crossflon® 213 lubricant in conjunction with Crossflon® skidway plates to aid the successful skidded load-out and launch of a 7000 metric tonne oil platform substructure, commonly known as a "jacket", for the Bien Dong Petroleum Operating Company (BDPOC) Bien Dong Project. Crossflon® 213 is a water repellent grease that was primarily developed as a lubrication aid for Crossflon® skidway plates, but is also suitable for use in general engineering applications where low coefficient of friction and reduction in shear energy is required. It offers technical and commercial advantages over conventional greases such as silicone oil. All the components used in the manufacture of Crossflon® 213 lubricant are food and WRAS compliant for potable water use. If you would like further information on Crossflon® 213 and its applications, please contact us.
