Regional Sales Engineer (Northern Germany) The Role Due to continued growth of our business we now have an exciting opportunity for a technical sales person to join our expanding German team at the world’s leading brand of steelwork connections. This important role provides engineers, fabricators, contractors and distributors with technical support and specification assistance to ensure they continue to receive the highest level of customer service. Sales region is dependant on where the successful candidate resides. Responsibilities Overall responsibility for providing technical advice to engineering and construction companies in the defined sales region Advising customers, designers and architects Acquiring new customers and maintaining and expanding existing business relationships Conducting trainings and product presentations in order to clarify the advantages of the technology compared to conventional methods such as welding and bolting. Development and implementation of sales strategies in the region. Support of dealers. Continuous business analysis of customers and competitors. Requirements Degree in mechanical or civil engineering, or similar technical education. Relevant experience in technical sales, preferably in the construction industry or in the construction sector. A quick perception as well as a self-confident manner and persuasiveness. High level of initiative, enjoyment of sales and entrepreneurial thinking/action. Customer-oriented appearance and strong communication and negotiating skills. Fluent in German and very good English. Remuneration & Benefits Competitive salary. Bonus scheme.
